Selling In Ebay.ph

I’ve been buying and selling in ebay.ph for around 3-4 years. I buy items that cannot be bought in retail stores here in Manila or items that are hard to find.

Likewise, I have been selling my stuff too - either because they’ve became small or big for me, or I want to upgrade into a higher model, or I want to buy new ones :-).

I have encountered a few inquiries with some potential buyers asking why I am selling them. Now I’m thinking, is it proper to ask the seller such a question? Should the question be related to the condition, size, where the item was bought, how old, flaws, etc?

I don’t know if others feel the same way. But I personally think the question is “too personal” to ask. But I do respond though, to answer the queries of my potential buyers

Yogurt Craze ! ! !

I really didn’t like yogurt. It’s sour and no matter how healthy it is (they say) and no matter how the TV Ads makes it appear that it’s yummy, I really can’t bear the taste. Of course until I’ve tasted Joghurt in the US.
From then on, I’ve been searching for something similar . . . . and the I found 1, and 2, and 3, and 4!

However, the only one I’ve tasted is Lulubelle located at the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell Center. It’s still a bit sour, but if you put chocolate syrup, it evens out the taste.

I just wish they had more flavors and more fresh fruits. I plan to try the other shops in Bonifacio High Street and MOA.

“The 100″ Essential Things That Every Stylish Woman Must Have

Ever since I’ve read Nina Garcia’s “Black Book of Style” I’ve been asking myself, will she have another book? Fortunately after several months, I was able to get hold of her new book ” The 100 - Essential Things Every Stylish Woman Should Have” (or something to that effect).

It’s actually a “must have” book for stylish women, most of it - closet staples. I have not really finished the book but it’s really interesting and I can’t help but smile while reading the book. It also have cute illustrations that makes the book more attractive and fun.

Although some of the “must haves” are not applicable to countries with hot climates (like the Philippines) most of it we can make use of. Here are some of them:

Denim Jacket
A-Line Dress
Clutch
Ballet Flats
Espadrilles
Driving Shoes
Make-Up Kits
Aviator Shades
Diamond Studs
Blackberry (I’m not sure if iPhone was already out whenthe book was published)

How Much Time Do You Spend On Your Computers?

I don’t know why all of a sudden this question popped up my mind. Then I began to compute, when I go to work, I work in front of the computer - without it, no work can be accomplished. In fact there are times (a lot of times in fact) that I work on two computers at the same time - a desktop which is connected to our company’s network and a a stand alone Laptop that I use in preparing presentations and some other reports.

When I’m at home, I simply eat dinner, take a shower and turn on my laptop or desktop until I am about to sleep. It’s either I update my blogs (like this one), website, surf, online shop and sell, research or catch up with my work. I used to watch TV and wait for my favorite soap opera, but for several years, I have not really, watched the TV, except for a bit of news.

Come to think of it, there were no computers before, even of there was not everyone has them at home, neither is the internet.

I wonder what would it like to be now, if there were no computers?

Yummy Joghurt!

I never really liked Yogurt. I find it sour even if they say it’s healthy. There are several brands and flavors in the market today but, yikes! it still doesn’t taste good . . . until I’ve tasted “Joghurt”.

In Chino, California, there’s this place called “Joghurt” (I think it’s German), that sells various flavors of frozen yogurt. There are really a lot to choose from - strawberry, cookies & cream, vanilla, banana, chocolate, caramel and much more.

What is interesting here is that you create your own “Joghurt” and get to choose what flavor you like, mix and match, and then choose from a wide array of toppings - chocolate, nuts, fresh fruits, etc. Plus you can add chocolate syrup on it. It’s paid by the ounce so the cost will depend on how heavy the stuff you put in your cup. To top it all - It’s not sour!

It’s really, really, really nice! Unfortunately, I got to know about it when we were about to leave . . . :-(. I miss Joghurt!
